I know three orthodox persons:
- A – rigid with criteria.
- B – enthusiastic with criteria.
- C – neutral with duplicate criteria (what one sees, what’s in himself).
Somehow, this group doesn’t get along. I’m C.
No solution is good. Perhaps the Steinhardt solution “If we can’t be good, we should, at least, try to be polite (original: “Dacă nu putem să fim buni, să încercăm să fim măcar politicoși”) isn’t that good after all.
I’m also unsure whether the conflict is good or not. It may be good or not. I’m polite and deal OK with people. Well – is this good? Serene peace with everybody? Should I aim for this?
